This is the stuff your grandpa used to start the fire in the fireplace. We cherish our old growth stand of Long Leaf pine and wouldn't think of cutting any down for this product. It's from stumps and downed logs that are scattered throughout the farm. It's super aromatic when freshly split and lights up immediately. A 1# bundle will have 10-12 sticks that are 8-10 inches long. I usually only need 3-4 to get a fire started. If you have never used this before you have to try it! They're selling this on eBay for $12/pound but I'm letting it go for $3/pound because it's cold and ya'll need to get your fires going.

We had a good crop this year of Anna Pears. This pear tree has never been sprayed. I have taken all the time consuming and hard work by cutting up and stewing these pears for you. Nothing added. Great to eat as is or add whatever sweetener you may like and also use them to make some great desserts. Just right for the up coming holidays.
