MISC MARKET NOTES

Make Ahead Summer Salads

Not too long ago my sister and I stopped at Lanes Peach Outlet and had lunch on our way home from visiting our mom. It was a dreary day and they had all you can eat soup . . so of course we tried every soup they had. Turned out the ladies made them from scratch every single day. And every day featured different soups. Of course we were blown away, but what was even better, learning that they used recipies from The Food Network and Pinterest!

It will soon be too warm for cozy soups but it will be PERFECT for make ahead summer salads that you can grab and take with you when headed out the door to a potluck, picnic or family reunion. Having tried and true “go – to” recipies is awesome and nothing beats Grandma's Potato Salad, but trying new recopies is also fun and a good way to liven up a meal.

So let's have some fun!
